Translation and localization tools
Our translators use the latest translation software, i.e. the CAT tools. These tools maximise the efficiency and accuracy of the translator's work. The CAT (computer-assisted translation) should not be confused with the so-called computer translation, the machine translation, where the entire translation process is performed by a program using automatic algorithms.
The software we have enables us to:
- build a database of completed translations - the Translation Memory
- create glossaries or terminology lists
- archive all completed translations for the future reference
Thanks to CAT software:
- all our translations are terminologically consistent
- we can offer discounts of over 70% for repetitive texts (e.g. similar catalogs, medicine leaflets, financial statements)
- translation of various file formats
- translation of websites (HTML, XML and other files)
- translation of text with tags
The software we use:
- SDL Trados 2007
- SDL Trados 2009
- SDLX
- SDL Trados QA Checker (versions 2.0 and 3.0)
- ApSIC Xbench
- Wordfast Pro Transcheck
